I Have Asperger's

There are SO MANY different organizations, groups, websites, and more that want to share their opinions about Autism.  I have seen people who are political, people who are for a cure, people who are against a cure, and people who really don't know WHAT to think.  But we need ALL of these people, because we all have a story.  What I'm learning is that, even if I don't agree with how someone treats MY opinions, that doesn't mean that the person isn't doing good work.  If you disagree with someone's point of view, distance yourself from them, and focus on your own view.  Focus on getting YOUR story told.  Because, isn't that our goal in the end?  For everyone to be able to tell their story?  We don't HAVE to stand TOGETHER.  We just have to stand.
