I Have Asperger's

The unique perspective of the world through the eyes of a girl with Asperger's Syndrome

I know it's been a while since I've written.  First of, my apparent "foot sprain" is officially a minor "stress fracture" of my heel.  The good news is that I can start driving again soon, and I only have to wear the boot the doctor gave me for 2 more weeks.

Now, one of the main reasons I haven't written is because I get a lot of comments on my website, but I don't always know what they mean, the tone behind them, or how to respond.  It kind of throws me off and I don't know what to do next.  So while I LOVE to see the comments, I don't know HOW to reply to them.  I don't want people to think that I'm ignoring them, I just honestly don't know what to do in response.

I have a big fundraiser event I was invited to tomorrow, so I need to get ready for that now.  Hopefully my dress will match my medical boot!  (I've already decorated it with some blue!)

I think that you are a true inspiration for people with Aspergers. Just like Temple Grandin, the world viewd us as weird and eccentric. We are normal, but we learn differently. I read your posts EVERY WEEK. It inspires me to become an avocate as well.

As to the 2nd paragraph of your post......Don't worry about it. It's part of the fun of having Aspergers. Sometimes It makes me feel like being very reclusive, and others it seems I can't shut up.

Secondly, I think we need to come to some consensus as to how Aspergers gets pronounced. Too often I hear, "Ass Burgers". I would like to see it refined more to something like, ( os-per-jers). Just me I guess. 8 )
